DTC Coffee Hour With Dr. Ashleigh Wade

The Department of Digital Technology and Culture is thrilled to welcome Dr. Ashleigh Wade as a special guest at Coffee Hour on Tuesday, October 15th, from 12-1 PM in the Morrill Hall Lounge. Dr. Wade is visiting the WSU Pullman campus to discuss her latest book, Black Girl AutoPoetics. Her work explores how Black girls deploy digital content creation as a way to (re)structure their spatial realities, thereby expanding places where they can simply be—an important theme that aligns closely with core aspects of DTC. Following Coffee Hour, Dr. Wade will be hosting a book talk at 2 PM in Smith CUE 507.
