Awards and Showcase

The DTC department invites you to an evening of celebration and fun at our annual awards and showcase event. This event is where we showcase some of the best work made by DTC students this year and hand out awards to our nominated students for excellence in Multimedia Design, Game Design, Web Development and more. This is DTC’s largest event of the year and is a rare opportunity for us to come together as a department to celebrate the accomplishments of both students and staff from the preceding year. Come dressed in your best however that may look for you! You are welcome and encouraged to bring friends and family as this event is meant to be a fun chance to celebrate you and your hard work and dedication.

The event will take place on Thursday April 25^th from 5-8pm at the Elson Floyd Cultural Center. During the first hour, attendees will have the chance to peruse the work of showcasing students, socialize, take photos at our Polaroid photo booth, and grab some delicious catered food and drink. Yes, you heard that right – we’re ditching the generic veggie tray and getting hot catered food this year, so make sure not to miss out! The second hour will be dedicated to the presentation of awards, speeches from staff, and celebrating our graduating seniors. Finally, the last hour will be devoted to cutting the cake and enjoying each other’s company as we bid farewell to another academic year.

This truly is a special event for the department that we look forward to every year and we can’t wait to see you all there!
