Biography

Chris Dreger received his MFA in Painting from Boston University, and a BS in Interactive Media Design from The Art Institute of Portland.

He has taught animation, commercial & fine art classes, and digital design at Washington State University, The Art Institute of Portland, Portland Community College, and Clackamas Community College. The classes have included Multimedia Design, Advanced Compositing and VFX, UX/UI, Stop Motion Animation, Drawing and Painting, Comic & Graphic Novel Drawing, Figure Construction, Graphic Design, Digital Photography, Motion Graphics, 2D Animation, and more.

Chris has worked in several commercial art branches. His work has included: compositing and VFX (visual effects) for films, TV shows and commercial spots, illustration and design for branding, print and web, technical presentations and animations for software and hardware products, educational multimedia applications for web and displays, and award-winning web advertisements.
