DTC Awards + Showcase 2025

The DTC department invites you to our biggest event of the year—the DTC Awards & Showcase! This is your chance to experience some of the most outstanding work created by DTC students this year while also celebrating our graduating seniors and honoring both student and faculty award recipients for innovative teaching, excellence in Multimedia Design, Game Design, Web Development, and more. This is one of the rare occasions where we come together as a department outside of class—to reflect, celebrate, and recognize a year of hard work, creativity, and incredible talent in DTC. Students, faculty, friends, and family are all welcome, so come join us!
For showcasing students: Please arrive at 4 PM to set up your work.
The main event kicks off at 5 PM, where attendees can explore student projects, chat, take photos at the Photo Booth, and—most importantly—enjoy some delicious catered food and drinks. Yep, you heard that right. We’re a classy bunch for this event, and we refuse to settle for stale veggie trays or greasy pizza—so we’re stepping it up with something actually worth eating.
The second hour will be dedicated to presenting awards to students and faculty, hearing speeches from faculty, and celebrating our graduating seniors.
And finally, in the last hour, we cut the cake and enjoy each other’s company as we wrap up another incredible year.
This truly is a special night for the DTC community, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
