Lacy is a writer and perpetual student who wants to answer the question, “is civility possible online?” As such, her research and pedagogy focus on public rhetoric and composition, algorithmic rhetoric, and the capitalistic practices of social media sites. She is also interested in social media studies, public pedagogy, service learning, and technical communication.
